Journal Square Urby532 Summit Ave
Jersey City, NJ
Urby the brand Built from the ground up with the needs of contemporary urban citizens in mind, Urby is a unique residential concept that offers unprecedented value for money and a truly connected living experience. Jersey City's journal square urby is the new kid on the block with its 340 units. This building marks its location on the corner of Summit Avenue and Pavonia Avenue, right next to Journal Square Path station and opposite the future park development around the historic Brennan Courthouse. All URBY buildings are designed to foster interaction and encourage connection between the residents as well as to the neighborhood. Therefore the building is set back from the busy corner of Summit and Pavonia Avenue, creating space for an entrance square to connect to the public realm. The 25-floor building will form a transition between the high-rise architecture around Journal Square and the low-rise residential neighborhoods. To bridge this gap, the building consists of two interlacing towers and a lower base, all with their own distinctive facades. Just below the tower’s crown on the 25th floor, tucked away between the height difference of two interlacing buildings, the residents will find a lush green roof terrace fitted with BBQ stations, a pool and stunning open views towards Manhattan.
